Eric Iverson - Electric Guitar, VocalsEric Iverson plays guitar for Without Annette band

Eric is a native of Minnesota's Iron Range, having grown up just outside Biwabik, where he graduated from high school in 1974. He moved to the Twin Cities area and has lived there since October, 1979. Although he came from a musical family (his grandfather was a member of the Minnesota Orchestra and his uncle taught music at Edina schools for 30+ years), he didn’t do much with music, beyond singing in choirs and soloing, until the summer of 1972, when he picked up his brother's acoustic guitar and taught himself how to play while his brother was away at boot camp. Eric started his first band, Chained, in 1973 followed by Stutz from 1976-79. After moving to the Twin Cities Eric got a real job, married, had children, and didn’t play guitar much for the next 10 years. He started a band with some friends called Bugzy & the Boyz in 1993, and then performed sporadically, 2 or 3 times per year, until joining Without Annette in 2006. Eric was referred to Without Annette by the bass player in the Bugzy band, as he worked with Dave Dornan, the new bass player for Without Annette. Dave arranged an audition for Eric in February, 2006, and the rest they say is rock & roll history! Eric is old enough to have seen the Beatles live on the Ed Sullivan show in February 1964. Other influences include Roy Orbison, The Mama’s and the Papa’s, The Dave Clark Five, the Classics IV, and especially Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys. When he could afford to buy his own records, it was Creedence Clearwater Revival, Three Dog Night, Chicago, and Bachman Turner Overdrive. His guitar heroes are Eric Clapton, Neal Schon (Journey), Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Brian Setzer.
